Meet Igasho! His name is Indigenous and means “wanderer” — a fitting name for such a soulful pup. I met Igasho and his mom back in June for a session, and let me tell you, this boy stole my heart. Look at those eyes! His mom adopted him through one of the incredible rescue groups here in the Edmonton area. I had been told he could be a little shy around strangers, but we hit it off right away. It’s hard to stay aloof when I show up with liver treats… and when the session takes place in a location that’s as peaceful and perfect for exploring as this one was.
Sessions with dogs and their people are my absolute favourite. There’s just something special about capturing that bond; those quiet looks, goofy moments, and genuine connection. It’s a privilege to freeze those memories in time, giving you something lasting to look back on long after the moment has passed.
This session was booked through my annual VIP (Very Important Pup) Mom sessions — the only promotion I offer each year. This exclusive package pops up every spring and has become a much-anticipated event. One of the best perks? Once you’re a VIP Mom, you’re always a VIP Mom! That means you’ll always have access to special VIP Mom pricing for future sessions.
Because of this ongoing perk, the number of VIP Mom spots available each spring is limited. If you’ve been thinking about it, make sure to mark your calendar for April — that’s when your next chance to join the VIP Mom family opens up!
