Alberta Dachshund Rescue's Wienerama

If you have been following along, you will already know that the Dachshund is the Breed of the Month for August. I chose the Dachshund because I will be attending Alberta Dachshund Rescue’s Wienerama this year!

I will have a booth where you can come by, meet me, chat about pet photography, and see some of my printed portfolio in person. If you have ever wondered about a portrait session for your dog but had questions, this is the perfect opportunity to ask them. It is also a great chance to see my work in person and in a variety of printed forms.

I think online and digital images can look great, but there is something about seeing a beautiful photograph as a finished print. It just hits differently. So come by, say hello, and let’s talk dogs! I would love to meet you and your Dachshund.

I won’t be doing portraits at the event. This is simply a chance to get to know the photographer and see what I do. There is also absolutely no pressure to book a portrait session. I would much rather have a conversation, answer your questions, and let you decide if professional pet photography is right for you.

You can enter online all month long for your Dachshund’s chance to win a photo session. You don’t even have to attend Wienerama on the 23rd to enter!

A change of venue

Because of all the rain we have had this summer, there has been a change of venue. Wienerama will now be held in Spruce Grove at the Spruce Grove & District Agricultural Society, 120 Railway Avenue, Spruce Grove. Note: there is an entry fee for this event as it is a fundraiser.
