It has been a joy to photograph Meg multiple times over the past five years. If you've explored my website, you've likely come across images from our earlier sessions. She's as spunky as ever and absolutely adorable. And those ears... simply the cutest!
At around 14 years old now, Meg presents a unique challenge when it comes to photography. With age, many dogs experience increased anxiety or confusion during portrait sessions, making them less responsive to treats and commands. This is a common occurrence I've noticed in both my clients' dogs and my own as they grow older. Just like people, dogs can show similar traits as they age. It's perfectly normal for a session that once flowed seamlessly to require a bit more time now. Patience is key, and I assure you we'll capture some lovely shots, even if it takes longer than before. I prioritize your senior dog's comfort, ensuring ample time for breaks and a relaxed atmosphere. This is one of the primary reasons I don't offer "mini sessions."
You dedicate time and resources to prepare for this photography experience, and I'm committed to providing my undivided attention to keep your dog at ease. No rushing.
